10 ACRES WITH CABIN
Located in LeFlore County, one of the four bear hunting counties in Oklahoma. It is just 3.5 miles south of LeFlore, OK and 4.5 miles east of Bengal, OK. This little hunting property is just what the doctor ordered for quiet and solitude. It is a great little getaway and priced right too.
This awesome little slice of heaven is all very nicely wooded and has Bear Creek running through read more
the southwest corner of it. The property is all fairly well navigable on an ATV or Shank's Mare. The property is 660' square. There is approximately 100' of elevation change from the highest ground down to the creek. There is a nice boulder field/rock ridge along the trail going into the cabin site that creates a really interesting entrance to the property. The bottom near the creek could be cleared for a weekend pasture for your horses if desired or maybe a clearing and set up a game feeder and blind.
The cabin is 16' x 24' with a 10' x 24' loft area and an 8' x 16' front porch. It is just a hunting shack but is very sturdy and has great potential. It does need some improvements and a little fixing up but does have good bones. This place has no electric or rural water available so one would definitely be OFF GRID.
The cabin is located back in the woods on the north side of the property and has a trail going to it. I drove to it in my FJ Cruiser pulling a 16' tandem axle utility trailer with my Polaris Crew aboard. Another associate followed me up in his Land Rover. No problems!
One will need to trim back some timber and trees that are starting to crowd the trail but as mentioned, it is still possible. You probably won't want to try it in your wife's Porcshe though! A 4x4 pickup, Jeep, etc is definitely advisable. One does have to cross Bear Creek which at times requires some ground clearance.
This area has lots of wildlife for your enjoyment and many miles of logging trails to explore. There are deer, turkey, black bear, squirrel and every other critter you can think of! All of this for $35,000!
