The cabin is 676 sf of living space on the ground floor. The cabin's master bedroom has its own covered porch entry/exit, the cabin has one full good sized bathroom, small guest room with bunk beds, an upstairs 8x15 loft for sleeping and LED lighting too. The upstairs loft has a cute window sized opening that looks down into the downstairs living area that is an additional 120 sf of living space if needed, for a total of 800 sf. The cabin was built to be extremely efficient with very good insulation, good windows, pier & beam on concrete pad. The cabin runs on solar panels (with 5,000 amps of the best batteries for solar you can get) and is wired for a generator too (generator stays). There is a large water catchment system (1000 gallons with pressure tank & filter) for household water, and you'll need to bring your own drinking water. There is no electric or county water here yet- its off grid. The porches are of penetrated wood, both porches are covered. They owners are even leaving one 4-wheeler (a 400 Polaris either '94 or '96) that stays in the storage shed!! The storage shed has two separate areas with separate doors and is 20 X 16.2. The owners previously had Direct T.V. & Verizon cell phones)
This beautiful wooded acreage has 7-7.5 acres on the flat, the other 2-2.5 acres is on a mountain side! Its beautifully maintained, and there is little to no brush so you can see through the woods and enjoy the view of the large trees. The views from every window and both porches is beautiful wilderness. It is very quiet here, lots of birds for a symphony. You'll enjoy lots of privacy and a long private drive to the cabin which feels very secluded. There is a circular drive and several parking areas. The landscaping is in keeping with the cabin, including bird houses, planted bulbs, and sitting areas. A lot of the areas are bordered with native stone, matching the native stone paths around the cabin, and there are walkways and areas that are caliche too. You could live here full time if you wanted too.
An extra bonus to this property is that the Kiamichi Wilderness area has a fire station, and emergency helicopter pad, a close-knit community who all have acreages for privacy, yet if you need help its always there. Some of the neighboring acreages have full timers that know who comes and goes!
