Born and raised in Traverse City Michigan, she was brought up with a love of country living and community. After high school Dawn spent some time in Cadillac, Wayland, and Grand Rapids before deciding to move back to the rural area of Lakeview, Michigan.

After working in the Michigan Real Estate field for 5 years, Dawn decided to move toward a more challenging direction in her career. She headed to the state of Oklahoma! A midwestern state with a diverse landscape such as Great plains, hills, lakes and forests.
