This lovely piece of property is definitely one to consider! It is, at the present time, OFF GRID property. However, the next-door neighbor is bringing electric to his property so there will soon be an electric pole and line within 100 yards of the cabin, on the NW corner of the 10 Acres. Now it’s set up for a small generator and has a water catchment tank for domestic water.
With 10 Acres you have all the leg room you could ask for and talk about game!!!
Just take a look at some of the pictures here. There are trophy Whitetail Bucks in this area that you have always dreamed about! Lots of turkey frequent this wonderful little game mecca as well. And all kinds of furry little critters.
The Bear Den is not just a cute little name or “cliché” for this acreage. The southeast corner of the property is in the middle of Bear Creek. I wonder why it’s called Bear Creek??? Check out those pictures again! If getting a nice black bear skin rug is on your bucket list, you may have just found your perfect hunting property.
This 10 Acre oasis is very nicely wooded and has legal access so no one will be trying to lock you off your property. The Bear Den is nestled in the Winding Stair Mountains on Bear Creek in Black Bear Valley.
The terrain is rolling and very navigable on shanks mare. The property is only 1.75 mile off of the Bengal/LeFlore Rd, which is a nice black top hard surface road. Actually, it is exactly 3.5 miles straight south of LeFlore, Oklahoma.
Although The Bear Den is not far off the main road, you’ll have a very secluded feel. The little cabin is 16’x24’ and has an 8’x24’ loft upstairs that is used for storage and overflow sleeping area. There is an efficiency bathroom with stool and a shower, complete with a sheep water tank bathtub! The little cabin is gently nestled in a little hollow and cannot be seen by anyone until they have arrived! Very private indeed. No one knows it even exists.
A fantastic feature about this wonderful little compound that wards off evil spirits is that you have to cross Black Bear Creek a couple times to get to it! It’s definitely best to make your trek in a 4×4 vehicle with a little ground clearance.
There are a number of small tracts in this area so you will be somewhat near other folks enjoying the fresh mountain air and the joyful revelry of being on your own acreage in the most beautiful area of the country! Black Bear Creek is a major creek in the area and will run water nearly all year long.
There is an easement road/trail that cuts through the property to a couple of neighbor’s little cabins. The neighbors have the right to travel their trail but no one else does. It is not a public road! You’ll probably never know they went through.
Don’t miss a chance at this one, you’ll find the land awesome and the little hunting cabin quite cozy for an older hunting cabin.
