HEAT AND AIR:  State of the art "Geothermal Heating and Cooling" (uses underground soil temperature to facilitate the system) with four (4) 250' loops of piping buried 9' to 14' deep underground where the temperature is nearly constant all year long.  (Approximate cost was nearly $50,000 when installed).

WATER HEATER: Two fifty gallon electric water heaters provide an abundance of hot water.

INSULATION: R19 insulation was used in the walls and R30 in the ceilings.

FRAMING and EXTERIOR: Framed with 6" exterior walls with hurricane clips and shear wall hold-downs throughout the frame, using fire retardant lumber.  Radiant barrier sheathing and decking was used on the entire home exterior walls and roof system with a steel roof.

The home is wrapped with "Tyvek Vapor Barrier" and exterior walls are a beautiful combination of "Austin Limestone" and "Hardie Board" fiber cement siding with a 30 year guarantee.  The owner even used commercial grade water shield instead of conventional standard residential flashing.
